Please note that we do not recommend using the built-in USB charging feature on vape mods that use replaceable lithium ion battery cells to recharge batteries. Lithium ion batteries must be balance-charged using a proper external charger to avoid damaging the cells and to reduce the risk of venting. Micro and mini USB ports, like those on electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), are notoriously fragile and as such we do not offer a warranty or repair service on any USB charging ports if you choose to ignore this warning.
Order acceptance policy
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell.
We, Vape World Australia (VWA) reserve the right, at any time after receipt of your order, to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity of items ordered.
If you provide any wrong information that then needs to be changed after you place an order, we may request additional funds in order to do this. Once your order has been sent out (posted/shipped) and any details given were incorrect resulting in a 'return to sender', additional postage costs will apply.
If you wish to cancel the order once it has been placed, a restocking fee will be charged.
Warranty claims and returns
We will happily accept exchange or accept a return of any product that is defective due to manufacturing or workmanship, if returned within 90 days from the date of purchase. Exchanges or returns do not cover buyer remorse.
If you are having problems with your device, please contact us first to see if we can help you resolve the problem.
After you contact us to troubleshoot the problem with the device and we suspect it may be faulty, the device can be returned by first filling in our Product Return Form to make a warranty claim.
Return postage fees are at the customer's expense. In order to qualify for a warranty claim, the product must be returned within three months (90 days) of the purchase date. Items need to be returned in the condition they were purchased, including the original product packaging. Items will need to be inspected for repair or replacement by our team.
If, after we inspect the returned goods, find them not to be faulty, you will need to pay for the return postage fees to get the products back. If is found to be faulty, we will send you a replacement product at our cost.
We absolutely DO NOT accept returns of e-liquid, atomisers/tanks, coils or other consumable or disposable products, for example, replaceable batteries, for any reason. If your device requires the use of external batteries and we have no record of batteries purchased from VWA. This may void manufactures warranty.
The warranty will be considered void if the product has been tampered with, used with parts other than those supplied by us or damaged through improper use, normal wear and tear, acts of GOD, negligence or abuse.
If we happen to send you the wrong product, the correct product will be sent out once the wrong product has been returned. If the wrong product is returned and not in the unopened state as in which it left (for example, the box has been opened and/or there is evidence of it being used), you will be notified and will have to pay additional costs and postage for it.
Delivery & terms of delivery
Purchases will be delivered as quickly as possible. However, the terms of delivery described on our website are merely an indication and can vary or change. We can put more details regarding all terms of delivery on the website or make the information identifiable in an alternative written form.
If you order a product that is momentarily out of stock, we will let you know when it will be available next by email.
If you decide to change an order in any way after submitting it, we have the right to charge you a restocking fee.
If your address is incorrect and parcel is RTS, $11 RTS fee will apply to resend or refund all orders.
If there are missing and/or damaged items in the order you receive, you will need to contact us within five days of tracking confirmation of collection.
While we endeavour to have accurate release dates of products, these dates are subject to change as they depend on the manufacturer and shipping.
Items purchased as a pre-order will be shipped once all items are available. If you place an order that includes both pre-order and non-pre-order (in-stock) items and would like non pre-order items to be shipped before the pre-order items are available, payment of postage will be required.
Pricing may change due to end of special pre-order offers or via a change in pricing structure.
We offer a limited 90-day warranty from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and materials. This warranty does not cover atomisers/tanks due to the heavy use toll and expected life of the part, and is subject to terms and conditions of purchase. The warranty will be considered void if the product has been tampered with in any way, used with parts other than those sold and supplied by VWA, or damaged through the improper use, normal wear and tear, acts of GOD, negligence or abuse. The warranty does not cover buyer remorse.
We are bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 (subject to any exemptions that apply to us under that Act).
Information we collect
The personal information we collect falls into four categories: contact details, click trails, activity history and publishable content.
Contact details are collected as supplied by you from time to time. We do not personally store usable credit card information. Where a record is required, we entrust credit cards to our payment gateway and store only the last few digits and expiry date of your credit card solely for purposes of identity confirmation and forewarning of expiry.
Click trails record the paths taken by visitors through the website. This information is generally recorded against IP address and may be possible to correlate by computer.
Activity history consists of orders, enquiries, votes submitted via the website or offline contact you have with us, such as phone calls.
Publishable content consists of comments or other submissions of content you would like us to publish on our website.
How we collect it
Contact details and publishable content are collected when supplied by you either via the website or direct to us by other means.
Click trails are recorded by our servers as each request reaches the website. This includes but is not limited to:
