Vaping the Whirl S
To prepare the Uwell Whirl S for vaping is super simple!
- Pull out the Whirl S Tank/Pod by literally just pulling up.
- Take out the coil from the bottom of the tank (see below for quick instructions).
- Prime the coil by placing a few drops of vapour e-juice in the centre.
- Put the coil back in and tank back in the Whirl S.
- Unscrew the top cap and fill with 2mL of e-liquid.
- Let is sit for a few minutes and vape.
Six steps that will probably only take you about five or 10 minutes to do, like most pod vapourisers on the market with replaceable coils. Although similar to other vape kits of its kind, the Whirl S Pot Kit differentiates itself in some very impressive ways.
The glass Whirl S Pod
The Whirls S Pod, once connected with its top cap, essentially becomes the Whirl S Tank. The vapour e-juice compartment is made of glass so no plastics in this pod kit! The glass is also well protected from breaking so you should have a problem with that.
Adjust the airflow – make it tight, make it loose
We all have different vape styles and the Whirl S Kit is equipped to provide some ability to tailor your vape by adjusting the airflow. Simply rotate the bottom of the tank when it is out of the Whirl body to make a tight or loose MTL vape. MTL vape closely simulates a cigarette draw by being restricted and a draw that is usually held in the mouth before inhaling to the lungs, hence the name, mouth-to-lung.
A very restricted direct-lung (DL) vape, where you inhale straight to the lungs like breathing in, may be achievable with the airflow fully open.
Keep the vape pod, change the coils
No need to throw out this pod when you need a coil change! The 0.8 ohm Whirl S Coils that will give you decent flavour and medium vape cloud production, thanks to Uwell’s Pro-FOCS flavour adjustment technology, are easily changed from the bottom of the tank.
- Press the black coil-lock lever to hold it open.
- Remove the old coil while keeping lever open.
- Place the new, primed coil in.
Draw or press the button to vape the Whirl S
More simplicity comes from your ability to simply draw on the Whirl S to start vaping. It will heats and produces vapour very quickly! Of course, you can also always press the firing button and vape but both options work as well as each other in our humble vape opinion.
Vape all day!
This little kit comes with a 1450mAh internal battery that is charged via a Type C port on its side. Given that the Uwell Whirl S only requires 18W to produce that tight MTL draw, you’re looking at an all-day vape before needed to charge up again. Of course, that always depends on how much you vape it.
One more thing… The Whirl S Pod or Tank can conveniently be cleaned with running water once you remove it from the Whirl S body and remove the coil. Clean tanks always work better so every now and then, give it a wash and make sure it’s fully dry before vaping it again.
